Chasing M’s Foundation CPR Tour in Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH - JUNE 29, 2023 - On July 9th, a day designated by the City of Pittsburgh as Damar Hamlin Day, Hamlin has announced that the Chasing M’s Foundation CPR Tour will host a community Hands-Only CPR education event with the American Heart Association at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. Hamlin is also hosting a Charity Softball game, the Damar Hamlin Youth Football Camp, and an All-Star Football game, supported by Highmark and the Allegheny Health Network, on the weekend of July 7-9 in Pittsburgh.
“Pittsburgh is my hometown, and I’m really excited to have this opportunity to connect with people and give back through my charity,” said Hamlin, who was raised in McKees Rocks and attended Central Catholic High School and the University of Pittsburgh.
“This year, we’re holding our Annual Youth Football camp for kids ages 5-12, a Celebrity Softball game, and our annual All-Star Football game, which brings together kids who have been recognized for their accomplishments during their senior year of high school for a day of hard work and motivation on the field,” explained Hamlin. “In addition, my charity has launched a Hands-Only CPR tour to encourage people to come and learn Hands-Only CPR at no cost through a family event being held at PNC Park Riverwalk.
